How It Happened
Lebanon Valley attempted a second-half comeback but was denied by Stevenson and fell by a 55-49 score on Wednesday evening at Sorrentino Gymnasium. The Dutchmen slipped to 4-4, 2-1 MACC and the Mustangs improved to 5-2, 2-1 MACC.

In a low-scoring first quarter, Stevenson jumped out to an early 9-2 lead with 5:39 to go in the opening quarter. LVC finished the quarter on a mini 4-2 run and came to within five at 11-6 at the end of the first.
In the second, the Dutchmen began the quarter by scoring four points in a row which included two layups from Becky Evans and Hilary Yoh, to come to within one of the Mustangs at 11-10 with 8:52 left in the second. Stevenson, however, ended the quarter on a 14-5 run and took a 25-15 advantage heading into halftime.

The opening minutes of the third featured the Mustangs building their lead and were ahead by 22 at 37-15 with 5:54 left in the third, but the Dutchmen began to chip away and by the end of the quarter, LVC was down by just 11 at 44-33 going into the game's final quarter.

With 3:52 left in the final quarter, the Dutchmen finally cut the deficit down to single digits at 49-41 thanks to a good layup from Lexie Lantz. Then, with 46 seconds remaining, LVC cut it down to just six points at 51-45 off a good jumper from Jennifer Eck, however Stevenson went 4-for-5 from the charity stripe in the final 40 seconds and held on for the narrow 55-49 win.

Inside the Numbers
 - Yoh led LVC offensively with 13 points and the senior captain added nine rebounds and a pair of assists.
