How It Happened
YORK, Pa. – Despite a career-high 17 points from Anne Lehr, York (Pa.) defeated Lebanon Valley 63-53 on Sunday afternoon in non-conference women's basketball action. The Dutchmen fell to 2-3 while the Spartans jumped to 4-1.

Coming out of the halftime break, LVC was down by just six points at 29-23 and was within striking distance, however York outscored the Dutchmen 19-9 in the third quarter and led 48-32 after three quarters of action, putting the game out of reach.

In the first quarter, the Spartans jumped out to a 9-4 advantage with 2:53 remaining, but LVC ended the quarter on a 7-3 run, capped by two free throws from Lehr, and were down by just a point at 12-11 heading into the second quarter.

In the second, York began the quarter on an 11-5 run and opened the lead up to seven at 23-16. Later in the quarter, Becky Evans sank two free throws with 1:40 to go to bring the Dutchmen back to within four at 25-21, however the Spartans would remain on top and led by six at 29-23 after two quarters of action.

Inside the Numbers
 - Lehr's career-high 17 points came on 7-of-14 shooting and the sophomore was 2-for-2 from the charity stripe while adding two steals.
 - Evans, Hilary Yoh, and Lexie Lantz each finished with eight points for LVC. Jennifer Eck added a team-high four steals.
 - Katie Wagner led the way for York with 13 points, while Sam Hruz, Morgan Kuehne, Sam Mocniak, and Morgan Golec each notched nine points.
 - The Spartans outrebounded the Dutchmen 47-42.
 - LVC led in points off turnovers at 12-8.

Who's Next?
The Dutchmen open up MAC Commonwealth action on Wednesday when Widener pays a visit to Sorrentino Gymnasium. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m.
