How It Happened
Nikki Lloyd netted four goals to power Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey team past Post University for the second straight day. The Dutchmen (2-4-0) scored three in the second and three in the third to down the Eagles (0-4-0) 6-2 on Sunday afternoon.

It was a bit of a slow start for LVC after winning their first-ever game just last night. Neither team could find the back of the net in the first until Post's Alana Lopez scored with just over three minutes remaining and the Eagles took that slim advantage into the second period.

Post's lead vanished in the second period when Nikki Lloyd scored just 16 seconds into period on a shorty off an assist from Liz D'Ginto to even things at 1-1. With 12 minutes left in the first, Lloyd scored another off an assist from Eleanor Donaher to give the Dutchmen a 2-1 advantage. 33 seconds later, however, the Eagles tied the game at 2-2 off a goal from Kendall Fitzgerald, however Lloyd competed the hat trick in the second period alone with her third tally with 40 seconds remaining to give LVC a 3-2 advantage heading into the final period.

The Dutchmen added three more goals in the third period, starting with Donaher's mark just over three minutes into the period thanks to an assist from Madison Humes. Later, Savannah Knoble scored and Lloyd finished off a huge day with her four goal of the game midway through the period, making it a 6-2 game, a lead the Dutchmen didn't relinquish.

Inside the Numbers
 - Lloyd finished with four goals on eight shots, while Donaher recorded a goal and two assists. Humes added two assists for the Dutchmen.
 - D'Ginto went 25-for-41 from the faceoff circle to lead LVC in that category.
 - Jillian Moffat was solid in net again for the Dutchmen and recorded her second straight win after making 30 saves on 32 shots.

What They're Saying
"Despite a slow start, the team picked it up and played well in the second and third," said head coach Isabel Menard. "We made some nice heads-up plays and were able to get a few past their goalie. All in all, it was a solid team effort and a great historic weekend."

Who's Next?
LVC faces the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers Tier 1 in an exhibition game next Saturday at 3 p.m. before enjoying the Thanksgiving break. The Dutchmen will play host to Chatham University on Dec. 3 (7 p.m.) and Dec. 4 (2 p.m.).
