How It Happened
Chatham scored six unanswered goals en route to a 6-1 victory over Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey team on Saturday night at Hersheypark Arena. The Cougars jumped to 2-6-1, while the Dutchmen fell to 2-5.
Savannah Knoble began the scoring this evening when she found the back of the net for her fourth of the season just 2:41 into the first period off assists from
Rachel Havrylkoff and
MacKenzie Bokina, however Chatham shut down LVC's offense for the rest of the game and kept the Dutchmen off the scoreboard.
The Cougars tied things up at 14:06 of the first and the score remained 1-1 after one period of action, but Chatham scored a shorthanded goal at 6:02 of the second and scored three more goals in the period to go up 4-1 after two periods of play. Chatham would add two more tallies in the third and went to win 6-1.
