How It Happened
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Nazareth College scored seven second-period goals en route to a 10-2 victory over Lebanon Valley's men's ice hockey team on Sunday afternoon. The Golden Flyers jumped to 3-2-1, 3-1-0 ECACW and the Dutchmen slipped to 0-5-1, 0-4-0 ECACW.

Nazareth scored two in the first period before exploding for seven more goals in the second period to take a 9-0 advantage. The Dutchmen got a few of those back thanks to Brett Johnson in the opening minutes of the third period. On the power play, Johnson found the back of the net off an assist from Brad Nolan just 1:34 into the third, and then a minute later again on the power play, Johnson registered another goal thanks to assists from Nolan and Cole Hepler.

The Golden Flyers, however, scored just after the midway point of the third and held their eight-goal lead for the remainder of the contest.

Inside the Numbers
 - Nolan and Johnson led the way in shots on goal at four apiece, while Mike Straub, Hepler, and John Wise each recorded three shots.
 - Hepler went 6-for-7 in faceoffs with Jared Karas and Zach McKown each going 8-for-16.
 - Nazareth outshot LVC 45-27.
 - Brenden Manquen relieved starting goalie Joel Eisenhower late in the third and didn't face a shot on goal.

Who's Next?
The Dutchmen continue ECAC West action next Friday night when the host Manhattanville College at 7 p.m. before playing host to Neumann University next Saturday at 7 p.m.
