How It Happened
Lebanon Valley fell to UMass Boston by a slim 2-0 margin on the final day of Neumann's season-opening tournament on Saturday afternoon, Oct. 29.
The Beacons (2-0) netted a pair of second-period goals when Kaleigh Beauregard converted an attempt off an Emily Harris assist in the period's eighth minute, before Jane Morrisette made it 2-0 off assists from Beauregard and Emily Harris four minutes later.
The best chances for the Flying Dutchmen to get back into it came late in the third when UMass Boston was whistled for a pair of penalties in the final five minutes but LVC was unable to take advantage in the closing moments.
