How It Happened
Lebanon Valley erased an early one-goal deficit and scored twice in the second half to earn a come-from-behind victory over Stevenson in the team's regular-season finale at Arnold Field on Thursday night, Oct. 27, securing a playoff spot in the process.

Rosemarie Neiva got the scoring started for the Mustangs (5-11, 1-6 MAC Commonwealth) in the early going when she gathered an Alexis Young crossing pass in tight space and put her shot into left corner of the net in the fourth minute.

Despite outshooting and holding the edge in penalty corners over Stevenson in the first half, the Flying Dutchmen (11-6, 4-3 MAC Commonwealth) didn't break through until after the break when Rachel Gorman inserted a penalty corner to Brittany Fleisher, whose shot was deflected into the back of the box by Megan Arnst to even things up in the 39th minute.

Little more than five minutes later, LVC took the lead for the first time when Gorman inserted another penalty corner and this time Casey Dombroski fired home her attempt from straightaway just inside the top of the circle.

The Dutchmen defense clamped down in the closing minutes and was aided by a pair of Mustang green cards and intermittent heavy rain that allowed LVC to hold on for the slim victory and move on to postseason play.

Turning Point
After failing to convert on six first-half penalty corners, LVC finally broke through early in the second on two occasions. Both of Rachel Gorman's insertions were precise and when Megan Arnst redirected Brittany Fleisher's attempt past SU goalkeeper Kelsey Eure, the momentum had clearly swung in the Dutchmen's favor. It only took five more minutes for Lebanon Valley to grab a lead it wouldn't surrender as Gorman again assisted on a goal following a corner, with Casey Dombroski piping her shot past Eure.

We're In
With the victory and Albright's subsequent loss to Alvernia on Thursday evening, LVC clinched the No. 4 seed in the upcoming MAC Commonwealth Postseason Tournament. The Dutchmen will travel to take on No. 1 Messiah next Wednesday night.

Senior Night
Lebanon Valley's matchup with Stevenson served as the program's Senior Night and prior to Thursday's contest, LVC honored its five senior captains in Sarah DiMaggio, Caity Stevens, Brittany Fleisher, Rachel Youngs, and Megan Arnst.

Inside the Numbers
- Each team racked up 11 total shots, with Stevenson holding the edge in shots on goal at 7-6.
- LVC was awarded 11 penalty corners, two of which led to scores, while the Mustangs attempted nine corners.
- Megan Arnst netted her team-leading 10th goal of the season on Thursday night and is now tied with Maddie Fox for most total points with 21.
- Casey Dombroski's marker was her fourth score of the fall and her first-game winning goal.
- Rachel Gorman was particularly impressive, assisting on both LVC goals and adding her fifth defensive save of the year.
- Sarah DiMaggio made five saves in earning her 10th victory of the season for Lebanon Valley.
- Stevenson goalkeeper Kesley Eure made four stops on the night.
- With the win, the Dutchmen snapped a three-game losing skid to the Mustangs dating back to 2014.

Who's Next?
It's on to the postseason for LVC as the Dutchmen will travel to take on top-seeded Messiah in the MAC Commonwealth Postseason Tournament Semifinal Round on Wednesday night, Nov. 2. Lebanon Valley dropped a 4-0 decision to the No. 1 Falcons in the teams' first meeting on Oct. 8.
