How It Happened
A big end to the first half lifted Arcadia to a 7-3 victory over Lebanon Valley at Arnold Field on Wednesday night, Oct. 19.

After nearly 20 scoreless minutes, the Knights (5-12, 3-2 MAC Commonwealth) got on the board when Lindsay Tobey netted a goal off an assist by Syndey Cyr at the 15:17 mark. It didn't take long for Arcadia to double its advantage as Gabby Sedares scored the first of her three markers three minutes later. Isabelle Houser converted a penalty stroke at the 9:14 mark and Sedares tallied her second goal of the half with 3:05 remaining before the break.

Hannah Simon injected some life into LVC (9-6, 2-3 MAC Commonwealth) when she gathered a pass from Mikayla Poole and put her shot past Arcadia goalkeeper Anne Becker in the opening moments of the second half.

The Knights had an answer, however, as Tobey netted her second of the game less than two minutes later off a Sedares assist. Allie Hines got into the scoring act in the 42nd minute after making a nice move past a Dutchmen defender and blasting her shot into the back of the net, and Sedares completed the hat trick shortly thereafter to make 7-1 Arcadia with 26 minutes remaining.

Maddie Fox's goal in the 48th minute was a bright spot for Lebanon Valley, as was Casey Dombroski's marker following a penalty corner in the 66th minute that saw Rachel Gorman and Brittany Fleisher record assists, but it proved too little too late as the Dutchmen were unable to pull any closer.

Turning Point
Hannah Simon seemed to spark LVC with a goal just 1:27 into the second half but the Knights responded with three goals over the next 10 minutes. The Dutchmen got scores from Maddie Fox and Casey Dombroski as time ticked away but Arcadia's three markers made it virtually impossible for LVC to mount any sort of comeback.

Inside the Numbers
