How It Happened
WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Despite two first-half goals by
Sammy Bost, Lebanon Valley fell to Lycoming 3-2 in overtime on Tuesday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth women's soccer action. The Warriors tied the game at 2-2 with eight and a half minutes left in the second then scored three minutes into overtime. The Dutchmen fell to 8-5, 2-3 MACC, while Lyco improved to 7-8-2, 1-5 MACC.
In the 82nd minute, Nour Hasan received a pass from Jordan Lazarich and kicked a high shot from the left side into the right corner of the goal to tie the contest at 2-2 and eventually send the game into overtime.
Just after the 93-minute mark, Lazarich, the MAC Commonwealth's leading scorer, got a short pass from Leanne Shaw and flicked it into the back of the net, clinching the game for the Warriors.
In the beginning of the first half, it was all LVC, more specifically Bost. 14 minutes into the game, Bost scored her 17th of the season to make it 1-0. Later, in the 30th minute,
Kirstyn Sokolsky passed it to Bost and she ripped a laser into the top-center of the back of the net for her 18th goal. Only three minutes later, Lazarich brought Lyco to within one with a penalty kick goal after a foul inside the box by the Dutchmen.

Taylor Reinhold posted a six-save effort and the Warriors' Joelle Winey made 12 stops.
- The Dutchmen held the slight edge in corner kicks at 6-5.

Bost Approaching History
With her 17th and 18th goals, Bost is three goals away from tying Chrissy Henise (1997) for the most goals in a season for LVC. She is also approaching the record for most points in a season. The captain currently has 39 and the record is 46, set by Bost in 2014.
Playoff Picture
The Dutchmen fell out of the fifth playoff spot with Messiah, Arcadia, Stevenson, Albright, and Alvernia owning the top-5 spots, respectively. LVC still awaits games with Stevenson, Albright, and Alvernia.
