How It Happened
FREDERICK, Md. – Lebanon Valley dominated Hood 6-0 on Wednesday night in MAC Commonwealth women's soccer action. The Dutchmen jumped to 8-4, 2-2 MACC, while the Blazers fell to 2-9-1, 0-3 MACC.
LVC was led by
Meghan Ross and
Sammy Bost, who each scored two goals.
Just under 12 minutes into the match, Bost sent a pass out wide to Ross who was able to find the back of the net for the early 1-0 Dutchmen lead. Later in the first, in the 27th minute, this time Ross assisted on a Bost goal off a rebound to make it 2-0. In the 31st minute, Ross was at it again when she shook a defender for a one-on-one opportunity with the goalie where she juked Zoe Lewis for her second goal of the game, giving LVC a 3-0 advantage.
Just a minute and 24 seconds later,
Robyn Weiland secured a bouncing corner kick and scored for her first collegiate goal to give LVC a 4-0 lead heading into the break.
In the 51st minute,
Johnna Garbrick got the ball outside of the box and drilled it into the top right corner of the net to make it 5-0, and Bost followed in the 59th minute with her 16th goal of the season when she took advantage of a failed clear and hit a rocket past the goalie and into the back of the net.

- LVC dominated in shots at 21-9 and shots on goal at 11-2.

Taylor Reinhold made two saves to earn her eighth win of the year.
- Corner kicks were even at 4-4.
- Bost is tied with Lycoming's Jordan Lazarich for the points lead in the conference with 35. Bost is second with 16 goals.
