How It Happened
FREDERICK, Md. –
Cam Alexander netted a goal early in the first half and Lebanon Valley's defense was solid throughout, giving the Dutchmen a 1-0 victory over Hood on Tuesday afternoon in MAC Commonwealth men's soccer action. It was LVC's third consecutive shutout, improving its record to 10-2, 3-1 MACC, while the Blazers fell to 9-3, 3-1 MACC.

Jake Kline sent a short cross to the center for the Dutchmen and Alexander was there to chip it past Hood's goaltender for the match's lone tally.
For the third straight time, LVC's defense, along with goalie
Cam Avery, were stout and never allowed the Blazers to light the scoreboard. The Dutchmen held reigning MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year Drew Demich is check throughout the afternoon. Demich, the conference leader in points, got off seven shots and four on goal, but Avery, the MAC Commonwealth leader in save percentage (.868), was there each time to make the stop.
