How It Happened
DALLAS, Pa. - A goal four and a half minutes into the first overtime period lifted the No. 11 team in the country, Misericorida, to a 2-1 victory over Lebanon Valley on Wednesday evening.

`The Dutchmen scored their goal early when Meghan Ross netted her fourth goal of the season unassisted. LVC held off the Cougars for the first half and went into the break with a 1-0 lead.

Misericordia broke through not far into the second half when Alex Gallagher scored in the 55th minute to tie the contest at 1-1. Neither team would score the rest of the half as the game needed overtime to decide a winner.

In the 105th minute, Gallagher scored her second of the match off an Ashley Edgell assist to give the Cougars the narrow 2-1 win.

Inside the Numbers
