Sammy Bost propelled Lebanon Valley to a 2-0 shutout over Widener on Saturday afternoon in Chester. The Dutchmen, playing in their first MAC Commonwealth game of the season, improved to 8-2, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth, while the Pride fell to 4-5-1, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth.
After the both teams were held scoreless in the first half, Bost broke the game open in the 69th minute when she headed in a corner kick, which was served in by 
Rachel Cummings, to give LVC a 1-0 lead.
About 10 minutes later, Bost put the game out of reach with her second of the game as she took the ball through off a pass from 
Kira Pushart and went in on a breakaway and beat Widener's Olivia Pfautz to make it a 2-0 score.
Inside the Numbers - The Dutchmen lead in total shots at 10-5 and put eight shots on net while the Pride put just one shot on net.
 - LVC totaled two corner kicks and held Widener without a corner kick in the match.
Another Shutout for ReinholdTaylor Reinhold faced just one shot on net today, as she improved her record to 5-2 and notched her third shutout of the season, as LVC's defense continued its stellar play.
