How It Happened
WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - A Meghan Ross goal just over 21 minutes into the contest proved to be all Lebanon Valley needed, as the Dutchmen shutout King's College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Ross came through at the 21:21 minute mark when Johnna Garbrick sent a pass to Ross, who then went one-on-one with King's goalie Jessica Natale and beat the goalie for the 1-0 advantage.

The tough Dutchmen defense took over from there as Taylor Reinhold and the rest of the defense shut down the Lady Monarchs and went on to win 1-0.

Inside the Numbers
 - Ross scored her third goal of the season in the match today.
 - Reinhold improved her record to 4-1 and did not face a single shot on goal in the game.
 - LVC let 14 shots loose, while King's had nine shots.
 - The Dutchmen's offense made King's goalie make nine saves on the afternoon.
 - LVC led in corner kicks at 5-2.

The Unsung Heroes
The Dutchmen's defense this year has been dominant. Anchored by Alexa Muffly, the team is now 7-1 and playing well in all facets of the game. Other defenders such as Taylor Kleeschulte, Emmie Santoleri, Katie Goldsmith and Kristin Robeson have not let many other players beat them in the backfield.

Who's Next?
LVC faces a tough team next time out, as the Dutchmen travel to take on No. 15 Misericordia on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
