How It HappenedA seventh inning wild pitch allowed Stevenson to plate the game-winning run in the Mustangs' 6-5 win over Lebanon Valley at Park Field on Friday afternoon.
The home team (5-7-2, 4-1 CC) scored the game's first three runs in the bottom of the third inning before
Colin Albright's double plated
Phill Dohner and got the Flying Dutchmen (5-7, 1-2 CC) on the board in the fourth.
Troy Miller's double in the bottom of the stanza drove in two more runs for Stevenson but LVC drew even with a four-run top of the fifth.
Zach Smith's RBI single scored
Michael Puglisi, a Dohner groundout plated
Zac Edwards, and
Devin Dellinger's double to right center allowed Smith and
Brett Fundell to cross the dish, tying the score at 5-5.
A lead-off walk came back to bite the Dutchmen in the seventh, however, when Stevenson's Jake Dimon scored on a two-out wild pitch that proved to be the difference.
LVC put together a two-out rally in the ninth when Albright and
Greg Orlando moved into scoring position but the Mustangs' Alec Romanowski got
Matthew Smarkanic to fly out to end the game.
On the Mound-
Michael Houseal got the start for LVC and was charged with loss, going 4.0 innings and allowing five runs on six hits and three walks.

Austin Hornberger made a relief appearance and went 2.2 innings, allowing one run on one hit and three walks.

Mike Wakalowski,
Lee Webber, and
Brandon Popp finished off the final 1.1 innings for the Dutchmen.
- Alec Romanowski earned his second win of the season for Stevenson, throwing the final 3.1 innings and surrendering no runs and just two hits.

Phill Dohner was 3-for-5 for Lebanon Valley with an RBI and a run scored.

Colin Albright and
Zach Smith each went 2-for-5.
- Albright and
Devin Dellinger accounted for LVC's pair of extra-base hits with a double each. Dellinger drove in a team-high two runs.
- Troy Miller went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a game-high four RBI.
Around the Diamond- Stevenson committed two errors. The Dutchmen committed none.
- The Mustangs stole two bases while Phil Dohner swiped the only bag for LVC.
