How It HappenedLebanon Valley had another strong showing in team's third consecutive victory, a 76-65 non-conference decision over Marymount (Va.) at Sorrentino Gymnasium on Wednesday night.
Andy Orr poured 23 points to lead all scorers and gathered in six rebounds for the Flying Dutchmen (6-3), while
Travis Conrad tallied 11 points and
Sam Light added 10.
Conrad assured that LVC wouldn't trail by knocking down 3-balls on back-to-back possessions in the game's first minute and a half.
Marymount (2-6) hung around in the early going, not allowing the deficit to reach more than six points until midway through the first half when
Kyler Burke's layup stretched the Lebanon Valley advantage to 22-14 at the 10:29 mark.
Leading 27-20 with 7:44 remaining in the opening half, the Dutchmen put together a key 20-11 run capped by five straight points from
Caleb Barwin heading into the break.
The Saints were energized following halftime, opening the second half on a 9-2 run that cut the deficit to single digits for the first time since the 3:50 mark of the first half.
Will Boccanfuso ended the LVC drought by netting five of the team's next seven tallies, including an old-fashioned 3-point play in transition with 12:04 left to play.
The Dutchmen lead ballooned to 20 points following a pair of Conrad free throws and
Ricky Bugg's layup at the 8:35 mark gave LVC its largest advantage of the night at 23.
Notable PerformerAndy Orr – The reigning MAC Commonwealth and ECAC South Player of the Week was solid once again, posting a game-high 23 points on 8-of-13 shooting (7-of-9 from the foul line) and adding a team-best six rebounds. He also finished with a pair of steals and a block.
Inside the Numbers- For the fourth consecutive game, Lebanon Valley shot better than 50 percent from the field, finishing with a 56 percent mark, including a 64.3 percent clip in the first half.
- The Dutchmen defense held the Saints to a 36.2 shooting percentage from the floor. Marymount shot just 22.2 percent from 3-point land compared to 41.2 percent by LVC.

Travis Conrad and
Sam Light joined
Andy Orr as LVC players that reached the double-digit scoring mark. Conrad poured in 11, including nine from beyond the arc, while Light tallied 10 to go along with his three assists.

Caleb Barwin and
Steven Shaffer had perfect shooting nights for Lebanon Valley. The sophomore transfer scored eight points on 3-of-3 shooting (2-for-2 from 3-point land) and Shaffer added four on just two attempts.

Will Boccanfuso was strong defensively, swiping a game-high three steals to go along with his five points and three rebounds.
- Lebanon Valley blocked four Marymount attempts.
Andrew Eberhart turned away two, while Orr blocked one shot, and
Ricky Bugg stuffed another.

- Tonight's contest was LVC's final home game of 2015. The Dutchmen return to Sorrentino Gymnasium on Jan. 6 to host Stevenson.
