How It HappenedBRADFORD, Pa. – Lebanon Valley had four double-digit scorers and never trailed in a 71-54 triumph over Pitt-Bradford on Sunday afternoon. The Dutchmen improved to 4-1, while the Panthers slipped to 4-2.
LVC began the game on fire, scoring the game's first 10 points. Later in the first quarter, Bradford cut the lead to six at 16-10, but a
Hilary Yoh jumper increased the lead to eight at 18-10. LVC kept its eight-point advantage at 20-12 after one quarter of action.
The Dutchmen held their largest lead of the second quarter at 33-21 with 3:38 remaining in the half, however the Panthers put together a 8-2 spurt to come to within six points of LVC at 35-29 with 1:55 to go in the half. With 14 seconds to go in the quarter,
Taylor Troutman connected on a jumper to give the Dutchmen the 39-31 lead heading into halftime.
Lexie Lantz led the offense in the first half with 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting, while Troutman and Yoh added eight points apiece.
LVC began to put the game out of reach in the third quarter, as
Kiely Chaklos made a layup with 3:09 remaining in the third to give the Dutchmen a 55-39 lead. With time winding down in the third,
Peyton Carper drilled a three-pointer for the 62-50 LVC lead heading into the final quarter.
The Dutchmen's double digit lead was kept throughout the fourth quarter and they led by as many as 19 points en route to the 71-54 victory.
Notable Performer- Chaklos' 11 assists today tied LVC's single game record. On Dec. 8, 2012, Tierney Hiltz also had 11 at Alvernia.
Inside the Numbers - Lantz, Chaklos, Troutman, and Yoh were all in double digits in points for LVC. Lantz finished with 17 and Chaklos had 15, while Troutman tallied 14 and Yoh contributed 10. Carper came off the bench to add eight points.
 - Chaklos had a game-high 11 assists for the double-double, while Lantz added 12 boards for another Dutchmen double-double.
 - Bradford's Ali Rinfrette posted a game-high 25 points, while Kaserra Owens added 13 and Anna Colebert recorded 12 points off the bench.
 - LVC had 40 points in the paint compared to the Panthers' 18.
 - The Dutchmen shot 48.4-percent from the floor as a time, while Bradford shot 33.3-percent.
 - LVC dominated on the glass and outrebounded the Panthers 51-24.
