Complete ResultsELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's team earned its fourth victory of the season in convincing fashion, outscoring Elizabethtown 118-87 on Monday night.
Jan Ikeda and
Alayna Kalinay picked up singles' wins on the women's side, but the Flying Dutchmen fell to E-town 130-75.
Ian Lloyd's strong 2015-16 campaign continued as the sophomore added two more victories against the Blue Jays. He won the 200 IM by more than seven seconds, touching first in 2:06.25. He finished his trio of events with a win in the 100 back (57.41), besting E-town's Nick Petrella by 1.5 seconds in a good finish.
LVC (4-2) was strong in the distance competitions as Christopher Kurtz (10:47.28) and
Garrett Collins (11:43.04) came home 1-2 in the 1,000 free, while Collins touched first in the 500 free with a time of 5:36.86.
Clay Heebner earned nine points thanks to his dramatic 100 fly victory. He outswam the Blue Jays' Tommy B. Kuhn by just .26 seconds to find the wall in 56.40.
Bobby Burkhart closed the meet's individual slate by winning the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.61, just three seconds shy of his program-record time set in February.
The Dutchmen 200 free relay team comprised of Heebner,
Brandon Seigel,
Nate Ginder, and Kurtz was victorious in the meet's final event, combining to touch in 1:34.67. Heebner, Seigel, and Kurtz each swam sub-24 second legs.
Ikeda picked up the first win of the night for the women's team when she swam a 59.53 in the 100 fly. The senior captain followed it up with a 100 free victory after getting up and back in 59 seconds flat.
In the 100 backstroke, Kalinay faced a game opponent in E-town's Bonnie M. Lisk. Kalinay held a slight lead at the turn and was able to hold off her Blue Jay foe to finish in 1:07.82, less than a second faster than Lisk.
