How It Happened
An impressive team performance gave Lebanon Valley the 3-0 road victory over Albright on Wednesday evening in Reading.

First Set – The Dutchmen got off to a fast start, jumping out to a 12-6 lead that was capped off by a Greta Weidemoyer kill. A 7-1 run occurred next which ended with an Amber Deshong kill, as LVC went on to take the set with ease at 25-13.

Second Set – The Lions made the second set more competitive early on with the Dutchmen ahead by just two points 7-5, however LVC tallied six consecutive points (four kills) to increase the advantage to 13-5. From then on, Albright was unable to get to within less than six and the Dutchmen took the set at 25-13 for a two-sets-to-none lead.

Third Set – The last set was closer than the first two and the Lions held the lead in the middle of the set at 12-10. LVC was able to come back and tie the set 17-17 thanks to an Albright service error, and then scored three straight points to go up 20-17. Later at match point, a Nicole Vazquez service error clinched the third and final set for the Dutch at 25-21.

Inside the Numbers
 - Alli Quirk led the attack with 10 kills, while Deshong finished with eight and Weidemoyer and Abbey Barnart had four apiece.
 - Rachel Moltz racked up 15 assists and Emily Sides notched 14 more.
 - Allie Garrett had 13 digs and as a team, the Dutchmen recorded six blocking assists.

LVC Stays in Third Place in the MAC Commonwealth
With the Dutchmen's victory tonight, they maintained their third-place spot in the MAC Commonwealth.

Who's Next?
The Dutchmen return home on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. match against Hood.
