How It HappenedLebanon Valley remained undefeated in MAC Commonwealth play thanks to a dominating 6-0 shutout victory over Hood at Arnold Field on Saturday night.
Lyndee Sheaffer got things started just moments into the contest when she scored her second goal of the season from close range 1:19 after the opening whistle.
After a scoring lull over the next 16 minutes,
Caity Stevens ended the drought when she netted her second score of the fall off a Sheaffer assist. Sheaffer wasn't done, however, as she put home her second goal of the game less than three minutes later to make it 3-0 LVC (6-5, 2-0 MAC Commonwealth) midway through the first half.
Kelsey Heck followed up her strong performance against Arcadia last weekend by scoring her second goal of the year off a find from
Casey Dombroski in the 28th minute and Stevens added her second goal of the game off a Heck assist with less than two minutes to play in the first half.
Isabella Vulopas capped the Flying Dutchmen scoring when she put her attempt past Hood goalkeeper Hailey Poisal in the 62nd minute.

Caity Stevens – Sheaffer recorded five total points on the night thanks to her pair of goals and one assist while Stevens found the back of the net on two occasions as well. By the time each of the players converted their second scores, LVC never looked back. Both Sheaffer and Stevens now have three goals scored on the year apiece.
Inside the Numbers- Lebanon Valley dominated every offensive category with season-highs in goals (6), shots (32), shots on goal (24), and penalty corners (18).
- The Dutchmen defense kept the Blazers from getting off a single shot on the night.
- Hood goalkeeper Hailey Poisal did all she could to make a game of it with 18 saves but was unable to hold off the LVC onslaught.
