Complete ResultsGLENSIDE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women won four events and the LVC men were victorious in three races at Arcadia on Thursday night, Oct. 29. On the women's side, the Knights beat the Flying Dutchmen 163-86, while the Arcadia men won 164-80.
LVC's foursome of
Alayna Kalinay,
Lauren Skorupski,
Jan Ikeda, and
Erica Wise kicked off the meet in style, winning the 200 yard medley with a time of 1:56.39, just .24 seconds off the program record set in 2013.
Wise added a solo victory in the 50 free thanks to her near record-breaking time of 25.47, just .09 seconds off the program's all-time mark set by Ikeda two years ago.
Following a 1-2 sweep in the 200 IM that saw Kalinay earn the win (2.35.52) and
Madison Martin come home second (2:38.81), the Dutchmen ended the meet with solid showings in the 200 free as
Katherine Gingrich,
Leslie Hiller,
Marie Gorman, and Wise earned points with a time of 1:49.34.
Bobby Burkhart picked up the first victory on the men's side when he swam a 1:04.23 in the 100 breaststroke, while
Ian Lloyd earned points in the 200 IM by touching in 2:08.27.
Lebanon Valley ended the night with its relay team of
Chris Kurtz,
Nate Ginder,
Clay Heebner, and Lloyd earning points in the 200 free thanks to a time of 1:35.05.
With the season's first dual meet under their belt, the Dutchmen will host their first home outing this Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31. The contest against Wilkes is also the program's 2015-16 Pink Meet. It gets underway at 1 p.m.
