How It Happened
A strong performance in all facets of the game lifted Lebanon Valley to a 2-0 shutout over Albright on Saturday night in Reading.

With both teams unable to find the back of the net in the opening half, Alex Detweiler broke the 0-0 tie in the 52nd minute when he scored his third goal of the season, tying him for the highest goal total of the season.

Just over two minutes after Detweiler's goal, John McHale scored his first goal of the season to increase the Dutchmen's lead to 2-0. That is all Cam Avery would need, as the goaltending and defense were stout all game, en route to the victory.

Avery was stellar between the pipes, making six saves on the night.
