How It Happened
Lebanon Valley scored two goals in the final 11 minutes of action to come back and defeat Alvernia 3-2 in MAC-Commonwealth women's soccer action.

Down 2-1 in the 80th minute of the second half, Meghan Ross stole the ball from a defender in the box and ripped a shot that beat the goalie to tie the contest at 2-2 in the late stages.

Then, in the 89th minute, Ross struck again when Sammy Bost passed it to her inside the box and she chipped into the right side of the net to give the Dutchmen the late 3-2 lead which was later the final score.

The Crusaders got on the scoreboard first in the 38th minute of the first half when Johnna Shank scored off a 30-yard pass from Kayla McNamee for the 1-0 Alvernia advantage. Bost got even just five minutes later when Teanna Shutt fed the junior in front and she scored to make it 1-1.

At the 67-minute mark in the second half is when the Crusaders took their 2-1 lead off Shank's second goal of the match.
