How It HappenedLebanon Valley was unable to push any goals across and fell to MAC-Commonwealth foe Arcadia 3-0 on Tuesday afternoon at Herbert Field.
Neither team was able to score in the first half and there were few real scoring chances for either team throughout much of the opening half.
In the second half, the Knights finally broke through when Jess Kelly received a lead pass from Melia Ochsner and Kelly ripped it upper-90 to give Arcadia the 1-0 lead in the 69th minute of action. In the 85th minute, the Knights added to the lead when Kelly beat
Taylor Reinhold high on the right side to make it 2-0. Arcadia's Kayla Haberbosch added another in the 89th minute as the Knights went on to win 3-0.
Inside the Numbers - The Knights held the slight edge in shots at 15-12 and had seven on goal compared to the Dutchmen's two.
