READING, Pa. – After dropping their first Commonwealth contest to Stevenson last week, Lebanon Valley rebounded nicely by sweeping Alvernia 3-0 to earn the team's first conference victory of the season. The Flying Dutchmen handled the hosts easily and recorded set wins of 25-12, 25-12, and 25-22.
As she has in most of LVC's outings this fall, sophomore

Kayla Confer also had a big night offensively and hammered home nine kills with a .429 hitting percentage. Junior
Alli Quirk also managed a .429 hitting percentage; both players' numbers were match bests.
Defensively, Lebanon Valley dug out 30 Crusader attempts with junior
Allie Garrett leading the way individually with 10 digs. Junior
Emily Sides and sophomores
Rachel Moltz and
Kayla Miller dug out three balls apiece. Sides teamed up with Weidemoyer to notch a block assist while Quirk, freshman

Kacey Musselman each had solo rejections. Sides also led the service game, matching a career high with six aces.
Musselman played her role of setter very well on this night by racking up a match high 23 assists. Sides and sophomore
