The game is the 30th meeting all-time ... Lycoming leads the series 24-5, winning the first 21 games, but LVC has won five of the last eight ... The first meeting was on Nov. 19, 1955, a 25-7 Lycoming win ... The two teams played in 1956, then did not play again until 1985 ... Lycoming held on to win 21-13 in LVC's last trip to Williamsport ... Coach Jim Monos is 5-15 against Lyco ... Last year's 14-7 win over Lycoming at Arnold Field was LVC's first over a nationally-ranked team.

Last Year vs. Lycoming
Lebanon Valley's defense turned in another dominating effort to lead the Dutchmen in an upset of #24 Lycoming, 14-7, in front of a standing-room-only Homecoming crowd. LVC's defense dropped 10 sacks on Lyco's Tyler Jenny, led by a four-sack game by Zach Halpin '14 and three by Frank Gaffney.
Joey Miller '14 caught the game-winning touchdown with 11:04 left in the fourth quarter to follow a second-quarter Jake Zeigler '14 catch, while Lycoming was limited to Ryan Umpleby's touchdown catch in the third quarter. LVC had three interceptions and held Lycoming to 50 yards rushing.

FDU-Florham Recap
Lebanon Valley scored 28 unanswered points to end the game as the Dutchmen earned a 63-21 win on the road against FDU-Florham to extend its winning streak to three games.
The Dutchmen broke open a tight 21-14 game at the half with 42 points in the second to keep the Devils (0-8, 0-7 MAC) winless. Brendon Irving notched his third straight 100+ yard game, rushing for 165 yards and two touchdowns while freshman Jon Jones added a pair of fourth-quarter scored. In th eair, Tyler George caught two touchdowns while Darryl Sweeper and Travis Saylor had one each to produce a four-touchdown day for Brian Murphy. Tyler Laudeman added a 25-yard pick-six in the second half. Defensively, DJ Johnson and Trevor St. Clair had first-half interceptions, and Adam Soltys pounced on a fumble caused by Connor Pierce's hit. Laudeman and Kevin Antol had second-half picks as LVC was +4 for the game in the rain. Andrew Livingston had two sacks off the edge, and Alex Beamesderfer had a sack and a forced fumble.

Johnson Named Academic All-District
On Thursday, senior cornerback DJ Johnson was named to the Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District on Thursday for his outstanding combination of academic and athletic achievement in 2014. Johnson is a physical therapy major carrying a 3.96 GPA into his senior year. He moved from safety to cornerback early in the season and has excelled there, starting six times and making 18 tackles (one for a loss) while picking off a team-high three interceptions to go with two other break-ups. Johnson had interceptions against Delaware Valley, Wilkes, and FDU-Florham, and has had one in each of his last two games heading into this weekend's clash at Lycoming.

Irving On MAC Honor Roll
Brendon Irving was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll for his play against FDU-Florham. Irving ran for 131 yards with two touchdowns and had 39 yards receiving to lead Lebanon Valley's offense. He averaged 5.9 yards per carry, and has had three straight 100-yard games dating back to Oct. 11. It was Irving's second appearance on the Honor Roll this season and third of his career. He also earned the honor after LVC's win over Misericordia on Oct. 11, when he ran for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

George Challenging Records
Senior wide receiver Tyler George has put together a fantastic senior season, and he's inching into consideration for having one of the best seasons ever by an LVC wide-out. With two games left, his 11 touchdowns this season is tied for second all-time (Adam Brossman '08 holds the record with 15), and he has a chance to challenge the 1,000-yard mark for only the second time in program history (Brossman had 1,107 yards in 2006). George has had three straight 90+ yard games and has caught a touchdown in the last six games, including two last week.
