Allie Garrett reached a career milestone when she recorded her 1,000th collegiate dig during the victory.
In a match that saw LVC play outstanding defense, Garrett led the way. Her 18 digs not only put her over the 1,000 career mark, it also led the match. One of the best plays of the night was Garrett's one-handed dig on a scorching attempt by a Bates' hitter. Fellow junior
Emily Sides also worked hard defensively and dug-out 11 balls. Sophomore

LVC head coach Wayne Perry was pleased with his squad's defensive effort, especially Garrett's performance. He was pleased that his junior libero reached an important milestone and was also impressed with her top notch outing against Bates.

Kayla Confer led the way offensively with a match-high 13 kills and .522 attacking percentage while junior
Alli Quirk recorded nine kills of her own. Sides added six while sophomore
Greta Weidemoyer pitched in with five. Of Lebanon Valley's 43 total kills, Musselman assisted on 38 of them, a match-best.
The Dutchmen racked up six service aces with Cable earning three of them. Moltz recorded a pair of aces while Musselman accounted for the sixth.
The victory improved Lebanon Valley to 19-4 on the season. The Dutchmen return to action on Saturday afternoon with matches against the host school and Babson College scheduled. First serve against Bowdoin is set for 12 p.m. while LVC's weekend finale gets underway at 2 p.m.
