Lebanon Valley 14, Immaculata 3
IMMACULATA, Pa. - Lebanon Valley dominated wire-to-wire as it blew past Immaculata, 14-3, in non-league play on Saturday.
Malik Pedroso set a new single-game record with five assists and tied his own points record with nine as he led the Dutchmen (2-1) in the victory.
Alex Beard scored three with an assist and freshman Klayon Garman notched his first two career goals as 11 Dutchmen overall recorded a point.
LVC's offense started with an exceptional day by
Scott Sutton, who won 17 of 19 face-offs to jump start a 51-32 shots advantage that helped the Dutchmen race out to a 7-1 halftime lead.
Pedroso and
Ian Schmid scored the only goals of the first half, and
Jordan Mayr and Pedroso made it 4-0 before the Mighty Macs (1-3) got on the board. LVC dominated from there with a five-goal run that went into the third quarter, holding the hosts scoreless for more than 16 minutes of play to work up a 9-1 advantage.
Andrew Dennison,
Matt Aldridge, and
Jacques Mercer also added goals for LVC.
Mike Moll (6 saves, 1 GA) and
Kevin Krasley (8 saves, 2 GA) split halves in goal for LVC, while Jon Diodati made 17 stops in the loss.
The Dutchmen return home Monday to host Rosemont at 3:30 p.m.
