Lebanon Valley 48, Messiah 55
 
GRANTHAM, Pa. – Different day, same result. For the second time this season, #19 Lebanon Valley fell to #10 Messiah – this time in a 55-48 final on the road.
 
Tierney Hiltz had another strong game on the floor, leading LVC (19-4, 13-3 CC) with 17 points. Caitlin Bach turned in another double-double – this time with 11 points and 17 rebounds.
 
The Dutchmen shot just 24 percent from the field in the first half and headed to halftime down 27-20. They shot 44 percent in the second half to make a push back but couldn't take control. The Falcons (21-2, 15-1) hit nine three pointers, granting themselves protection in a game in which they shot just 36 percent overall.
 
Hiltz recorded 13 points in the second half, shooting 5-for-8 from the field. She's now scored in double digits in 10-straight games and is averaging a team-high 13 points per game.
 
LVC hosts Arcadia Tuesday at 6 p.m. on the team's Senior Night. The team is still playing for playoff seeding.
