Lycoming's tough defense shut down Lebanon Valley, holding the Dutchmen to a single touchdown to hand LVC its first loss of the season 21-13. The Dutchmen (2-1, 1-1 MAC) managed just 284 yards of offense, including 90 on the ground, as the Warriors (2-1, 2-0 MAC) used big plays and smart clock management to take control in the second half. Mistakes hurt both teams, with Lycoming scoring a first-half touchdown off
Joey Miller's fumble and LVC capitalizing on
Jared Cicero's second quarter interception. Penalty flags flew all game long, with a combined 18 penalties for 166 yards.
Leo Kyte, knocked out early in the first half, went 14-for-26 for 169 yards and a touchdown after returning late in the first half. Miller racked up 107 yards on nine catches with a touchdown, and also drew a pair of deep pass interference penalties.
Sean Fakete tacked on field goals of 35 and 28 yards. Craig Needhammer led Lycoming with 101 yards, including a back-breaking 61-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Tyler Jenny was 15-for-23 for 168 yards and a score.

Sean Fakete set an LVC single-season record with 43 PATs last year, and his eight field goals ranked second all-time. In doing so, he became the first LVC kicker in a decade to earn all-MAC honors. He co-holds the single-game PAT record (7, twice) and the single-game scoring record by a kicker (13). He already has some career records in sight, with Brittany Ryan '11's PAT mark of 82 within reach this season (Fakete has 69) after he moved up to third all-time with five boots in Week 2.

Senior center
Sam Colletts has earned three preseason all-America nods this summer. The all-ECAC and all-MAC pick was named a first-teamer by USA College Football, a second-teamer by the D3Senior Classic, and a third-teamer by Beyond Sports College Network.

Stevenson Quick Look
Stevenson has held their own in three losses this season, including a 34-10 setback to Delaware Valley last week and an overtime loss to Albright in Week 2. Stevenson has been a run-first offense, averaging a hair under 200 yards per game on the ground compared to just 89.7 yards passing. Freshman K.K. Smith has excelled as the feature back, rushing for 402 yards this season, including a school-record 170 on 32 carries last week. QB Anthony Reid completed 55.8% of his passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns; Anthony Smith is the favored target with 10 catches for 138 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Defensively, the Mustangs have allowed 29.7 points and 423 yards per game of offense.
