GLENSIDE, Pa. - Allie Hartman cracked her seventh homerun of the year to help lead Lebanon Valley past Arcadia in game one of Tuesday's doubleheader, but Arcadia hit back with a six-run sixth inning to take game two.

Hartman added five RBIs between the two games.

Kristen Palmerio (10-6) pitched both games for the Dutchmen, earning both the win and the loss.

Game One

LVC (16-10, 5-3 CC) put five runs on the board before Arcadia (13-13, 2-6) was finally able to answer back in the bottom of the fifth.

Hartman collected her first RBI of the game in the first, knocking in Tessa Deardorff from third on a groundout to second base.

Chelsea Kehr led off in the third with a walk and came around to score on an RBI single by Katie Deardorff. Deardorff crossed the plate on a double down the right field line by Palmerio.

LVC put two more runs up in the top of the fifth on Hartman's homerun.

Steffani Secola and Chelsea Detwiler earned RBIs in the bottom of the seventh to extend the team's lead to 7-2 - a tally that proved insurmountable.

With a stolen base in the first inning, Tessa Deardorff took sole possession of LVC's single season steals record. She has now successfully stolen 19 bases on 20 attempts.

Palmerio and Hartman finished the game with three hits apiece.

Palmerio had an excellent showing on the mound, striking out seven batters. She allowed five hits and four walks but faced just 29 batters in seven innings of work.

Game Two

The Dutchmen amassed 11 hits and held control of the game with a 2-0 lead up until the sixth inning, but the Knights exploded for six runs to steal the win.

Steph Hulme singled with two outs in the top of the third, advanced on an error, and scored on a single by Secola to give the Dutchmen a 1-0 lead.

Hartman collected her fourth RBI of the day in the top of the fifth, singling in Katie Deardorff to put LVC up 2-0.

The Knights built their sixth-inning rally on five hits and made use of a pair of Dutchmen errors.

Hartman and Secola both singled in runs in a seventh-inning rally, but Hartman was gunned down at third on Secola's hit to end the game.

Secola hit 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Hartman, Hulme, and Tessa Deardorff finished game two with two hits each.

In the loss, Palmerio allowed six runs - four earned - on eight hits and a walk. She struck out another five batters.
