CLERMONT, Fla. - The Dutchmen got a hot start on Friday, beating Misericordia 1-0 in a 9 a.m. game.
Allison Hartman provided all the necessary offense with a solo homerun in the second.
LVC's biggest overall push on offense came in the fifth.

Tessa Deardorff clubbed consecutive two-out singles to load the bases, but the rally ended on a strikeout.
Kristen Palmerio reached 100 career hits in the sixth on a leadoff single. She also earned the win in the circle with her second shutout of the season.
Lebanon Valley 3, Ohio Northern 11
CLERMONT, Fla. - LVC allowed seven total runs in the first, prompting an early pitching change and giving Ohio Northern enough confidence to maintain control of the game through the end.
Samantha Shimp made the start, allowing five runs on four hits before being pulled for
Jasmine Dutton.
The Dutchmen made a push in the third with a three run inning.
Alexa Maddy reached on an error, Dutton doubled, and Deardorff singled. All three players came around to score.
Ohio Northern added a run in the fourth, two in the fifth, and another in the seventh to seal the win.
The loss brings LVC's Florida trip to a close. The Dutchmen will play a doubleheader at Juniata on March 13.
