Lebanon Valley 73, Marywood 40
 
SCRANTON, Pa. – Renee Fritz and Tierney Hiltz both recorded double-doubles in a 73-40 win at Marywood Monday night.
 
Fritz led the #13 Dutchmen (8-1) with 15 points on the night. Hiltz and Liz Borgia were both able to score in double digits with 11 points each. Fritz and Hiltz grabbed 10 rebounds each, while Caitlin Bach led with 12.
 
LVC got off to a 12-2 start before really heating up. The Dutchmen led by as many as 17 points in the first half – twice – and headed to halftime with a 33-19 lead. The Dutchmen shot a comfortable 34 percent in the first half but improved to nearly 41 percent in the second half.
 
Taylor Umbrell opened a stout 15-3 run with a pair of successful free throws with 7:59 to play. She hit on a three pointer and Fritz sank a layup and a jumper before the run was through. LVC maintained dominance through the final five minutes to lock in on the win.
 
The Dutchmen defense had an outstanding night, holding Marywood (5-4) under 21 percent in shooting and outrebounding the Pacers 64-37.
