If You Only Know Five Things...
1. LVC is looking to end the regular season with a pair of wins to go to 7-3, putting them in position for a possible fourth-straight ECAC Bowl berth.
2. The Dutchmen have been led on the ground by Evan Fink's 13 touchdowns, the fifth-highest single-season total in program history.
3. King's is coming off a 34-21 win against Stevenson, a team LVC also beat earlier this year, 31-29.
4. A win would make it five straight winning seasons for LVC, the first time that's happened since between 1958 and 1963.
5. LVC has won five in a row in the series with King's dating back to 2007. LVC's average margin of victory in those games has been +21.2 points.

Series History
The game is the 14th meeting all-time ... LVC leads the series 7-6 ... LVC has won five in a row ... King's had won four straight before that ... They have met every year since 2003 ... The first meeting was Sept. 30, 1995 at King's, an 18-11 LVC win ... Coach Jim Monos is 7-4 against the Monarchs.

Recapping Delaware Valley
Six turnovers doomed Lebanon Valley as Delaware Valley scored 21 unanswered points to end the game and win, 31-10, at Arnold Field. The Dutchmen (5-3, 4-3 MAC) lost two fumbles and threw four interceptions as the Aggies (6-2, 6-1 MAC) ran for 276 yards. The game was sloppy both ways, with Del Val coughing up three fumbles as well. Del Val's Alquann Jones ran for 108 yards and two touchdowns, including a back-breaker 56-yard burst up the seam in the third quarter. Kyle Schuberth went for 89 yards and a score, and quarterback Aaron Wilmer added 76 yards and a touchdown. LVC combined for 108 yards on the ground led by Conrad Heisey's career-high 14 touches for 48 yards, and Pete Panichi's 38 yards. Leo Kyte had an early touchdown on a QB sneak. Kyte threw for 180 yards, but his four interceptions gave Del Val momentum as Wilmer had a quiet 136 yards on 10-of-14 passing. Bryan Kasper led the defense with 11 tackles; DJ Poligone forced two fumbles, and Kevin Smith and Drew Murphy each had sacks. Terrence Osborne led DVC with 10 tackles, and John Robinson, Shaquille Lee, Chad Wisniewski, and Chris Vega all had picks for the Aggies.

Noting LVC's Offense
Several two-deep changes on offense, most notably at tailback where Conrad Heisey will make his second straight start ahead of Pete Panichi ... Kelly Saylor will back up Joey Miller at wide receiver with Yahya McIntyre out, and Nate Valdez returns to start at right tackle ... Heisey had a career-high 14 touches against Del Val, rushing for 48 yards ... Panichi carried the ball eight times for 38 yards, and Brendan Kain saw four touches for 15 yards ... Leo Kyte had the first rushing touchdown his career, sneaking in from a yard out for LVC's lone TD of the game ... Kyte was victimized for four interceptions against the Aggies while going 16-for-28 for 180 yards ... Brian Murphy was 2-for-4  for 13 yards on one series of work ... Miller received the bulk of the work at wide-out, catching eight passes for 90 yards ... Jake Zeigler caught six passes for 62 yards, and McIntyre, Evan Fink, and Nate Luckenbill each had catches ... LVC's offensive line allowed just one sack, and ranks third in the MAC with nine allowed in eight games this year ... Despite six turnovers to the Aggies, LVC still ranks fourth in the MAC at +1 for the season.

Noting LVC's Defense
One two-deep change for LVC as Andrew Livingston will make his first career start at end in place of Joey Scerbo, who is out ... The Dutchmen were buoyed last week by the returns of Nate Kauffman at strong safety and Ryan Melley at cornerback ... The Dutchmen had trouble containing Del Val's potent run game, allowing 276 yards on the ground, the most since Gettysburg went for 374 in 2010 ... LVC did draw a pair of fumbles, both forced by DJ Poligone with recoveries by Melley and Zach Haplin ... Bryan Kaspar led LVC's defense with a career-high 11 tackles ... Halpin added seven stops with a pressure ... Kevin Smith (5 T, 1 QBH) and Ian Bond (2 T, 1 QBH) also had hurries ... Smith and Drew Murphy each had a sack, as well ... LVC had four tackles for losses, led by Murphy's 2.5 ... Derek Nye broke up a pass, LVC's only of the game ... The Dutchmen have been outstanding in the red zone this year, ranking second in the MAC at 18-for-27 ... LVC held Del Val to just 3-for-10 on third-down conversions; the Dutchmen are third in the MAC in third-down conversions allowed at 34.8 percent.

Noting LVC's Special Teams
No two-deep changes on special teams ... LVC remains the MAC's top kick-return unit (and is ranked 19th in the nation), averaging 23.6 yards per return ... Sean Fakete hit a 32-yard field goal against Del Val after missing earlier from 42; his first attempt had plenty of distance, but was caught by a stiff crosswind and hit the left upright ... Fakete also made his only PAT attempt ... Jake Zeigler punted three times for a 29.3 yard average, plunking one inside the 20 with none returnable ... LVC was gifted with an early turnover when Del Val's Aaron Boyd couldn't handle an early punt, and Evan Fink jumped on the loose ball inside the red zone to set up LVC's touchdown ... Bryan Ek and Mike Smith handled all the returns, with Smith taking four kicks for 76 yards and Ek two for 31 ... Neither had a punt return.

A Milestone For Monos
In his 20th season at the helm of LVC, Jim Monos coached his 200th career game at the Valley last week against Delaware Valley. Monos is 92-106-2 during his tenure with the Dutchmen.

Going For Five
With a win in either of its last two games, Lebanon Valley will secure its fifth straight winning season - the first time that's happened in 49 years. LVC last had five consecutive winning seasons between 1958 and 1963; the record is six, set between 1941 and 1949 (with 1943-45 not played due to World War II).

Fakete Sets PAT Record
Only a junior, kicker Sean Fakete is already LVC's all-time leader in extra points after booting five at FDU-Florham. Fakete's career total of 86 surpasses Brittany Ryan '11's mark of 82.

Fink Breaking Through
You don't usually see fullbacks near the top of a lot of rushing lists, but Evan Fink's season is proving to be something special. The junior has run for a MAC-best 13 touchdowns this year, including eight in the last four games. His 13 represent the fourth-most ever in a season at LVC (the record of 19 was set last year by Ben Guiles '12).

LVC Among NCAA Leaders
LVC is ranked among NCAA Division III's statistical leaders in a couple of categories this week. Evan Fink is 26th in scoring overall, and he is tied for 17th in touchdowns at 13. LVC's kickoff return unit ranks 19th nationally at 23.6 yards per return.

Secondary Steps Up
LVC has 13 interceptions through eight games, its highest total to this point in the season since 1995. What's more impressive is that the contributions have come from all over the field, with 10 different Dutchmen making picks - Zach Wierman, Josh Borreli, and Derek Nye each have two. Both of Borreli's interceptions were returned for touchdowns, as was Zach Halpin's.

Scouting The Monarchs
A young King's team is led by a trio of sopohmores with quarterback Tyler Hartranft, running back Kyle McGrath, and receiver Dan Kempa. Hartranft has thrown for 1,243 yards and five touchdowns, completing 50 percent of his apsses; McGrath is coming off an impressive game against Stevenson that saw him account for 210 total yards and three touchdowns; he has rushed for 836 yards this year. Kempa has caught 18 passes for 339 yards and a touchdown. King's has had trouble scoring this year, averaging 16.5 points per game, while giving up 28.8 points per game. Defensively, Ryan Kelly and Kris Matthews lead the Monarchs with 57 tackles each, and Jake Ksiaziewicz (4.0 sacks) and Ron Garrett (3.5 sacks) have been the pass-rush playmakers this year. Matthews also has a pair of interceptions.

Next Time Out
LVC returns home for the regular-season finale against Albright on Nov. 10.
