Breast Cancer Awareness Month
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and all of LVC's student-athletes are wearing pink shoelaces to remind the women in their lives that it's time to get checked for breast cancer. The Good Samaritan Health System is sponsoring the pink shoelace campaign to encourage every woman who is 40 and over to get an annual mammogram. Early detection is smart and saves lives.
