ANNVILLE, Pa. - It was a big game in the numbers for #24 Lebanon Valley Saturday. Tierney Hiltz led the team with 23 points, as Caitlin Murphy shot a perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line and Eryn Schultz inched closer to the 1,000-point career mark.

Hiltz scored 13 points in a big first half that put the Dutchmen (13-2, 4-0 CC) up 39-20. She broke away for the layup that started a 12-1 run and put the team up 20-6 with just under 13 minutes to play in the half and went on to score nine of those 12 points, including eight from the paint.

LVC shot 50 percent from the field in the half, including 13 points off of turnovers and six fast break points.

The second half opened on a string of three rapid fire three-pointers, two from Alvernia and one from Hiltz to bring the score to 42-26 with 19:13 to play.

The Crusaders (6-4, 1-3) were able to cut the deficit to 10 points before a 13-2 LVC run that put the Dutchmen up 72-52 with a minute to play. The run included 11 points from the free throw line and blocks from Murphy and Caitlin Bach.

Bach finished the night with her third double-double of the season at 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Murphy's was the second best night from the line without a miss in school history after a 12-for-12 night posted by Andrea Hoover at Franklin & Marshall last season.

Eryn Schultz scored eight points to bring her career total to 986. With 14 more points, she would join Hoover and Suzie Noyes as 1,000-point club members from the freshmen class of 2007-08.

LVC plays at Elizabethtown Wednesday night at 6 p.m.
