WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Junior guard
Gia Russo scored a career-high 11 points to lead the #24 Dutchmen past Lycoming, 57-47, on the road Wednesday night.
Junior forward
Liz Borgia scored on a jumper just six seconds into the game to give LVC a lead they would never surrender. They led by as many as 15 points late in the second half before allowing a 7-2 run to close out the game.

Kiely Chaklos finished with 10 points each on the night.
The Dutchmen (12-2, 3-0 CC) shot 25-for-29 from the free throw line, including 6-for-6 lines from Russo and Chaklos. By contrast, they sent the Warriors (7-6, 2-1) to the stripe just seven times.
LVC shot 30 percent in the game but played tough on defense to maintain the lead. Senior guard
Caitlin Murphy led the team with 11 rebounds on the night. Sophomore guard
Caitlin Bach finished with 10 boards of her own, marking her fourth game in double-digits this season.
Junior guard
Tierney Hiltz nabbed six steals--the second highest single-game total for a Dutchmen player this season. She had seven against Richard Stockton on Dec. 22.
Janelle Ziminski led the Warriors in scoring with nine points. The team shot 36.5 percent from the field.
LVC remains in first place in the Commonwealth Conference with a perfect record in conference play. They host Alvernia Saturday at 1 p.m.
