Laura Snyder struck out eight batters to pass Jenn Roberts '07 as the program's all-time strikeout leader.
John Carroll broke up a scoreless game in the sixth inning with one run. The Dutchmen responded in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single from
Chelsea Kehr, but the Streaks posted a run in the seventh for the 2-1 win.
Steffani Secola went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double for the Dutchmen.
Snyder entered the game with 462 strikeouts, tied with Roberts. After posting eight strikeouts against John Carroll, she became the all-time leader and now has 470 strikeouts in her career. Pitching the complete game, Snyder gave up eight hits and one walk in the loss.
The first game of the day against Urbana (Ohio) was postponed due to rain and a makeup date has not been set.
Lebanon Valley wraps up spring break play on Friday with an 8:30 a.m. game vs. Penn State – Behrend and a 1 p.m. contest against Thiel.
