ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College's senior class competed for the final time at home as the Dutchmen took on Lycoming in a dual meet on Saturday. For the second straight meet, freshmen Julia Mongeau and Alicia Hain broke individual records, and they also led the 200 free relay to a new school mark.

Lycoming got team wins in both meets, with the men's score at 135-112 and the women 150-101.

LVC honored its senior class at the meet: Patrick Barry, Jeffrey Bush, Nathan Heinly, Tony Shipkowski, Brett Wimmer, Ally Birli, Lauren Davis, Stephanie Mannon, and Ashten O'Brien. The senior class has accounted for 21 current school records over the past four years.

Mongeau picked up the fifth individual record of her young career with her win the 400 IM, taking 10 seconds off the record set by Birli in 2008 with a 5:33.37.

Meanwhile, Hain took back her record in the 400 free that Mongeau had broken against Misericordia on Wednesday, becoming the first Dutchman to swim a sub-5:00 time with a 4:59.11 to win the event.

The 200 free relay finished the meet with a win and a school record as Kerri Bailey, Hain, Noelle Brossman, and Mongeau finished in 2:00.55 to shave nearly a second off the record set earlier this year. Hain led the relay with a 29.75 split on the second leg.

The men had some strong individual efforts as well as Joseph Chubb (1:10.85) and Brett Wimmer (1:11.56) went 1-2 in the 100 back, and John Denniston won the 200 fly easily in 2:39.53. Matthew Dwyer added a win in the 200 back (2:43.98).

LVC will visit FDU-Florham next Saturday.
