ANNVILLE, Pa. - Playing a tough defensive game, Lebanon Valley women's soccer posted its second win of the season with a 1-0 victory over Scranton Saturday afternoon at Herbert Field. Sophomore
Nicole Snyder scored the game's only goal, her first of the season.
Both teams traded opportunities in the first half but were unable to find the back of the net. Lebanon Valley had four shots, while Scranton totaled five. The Royals had the advantage in corner kicks with two and held the Dutchmen without one. Junior goalkeeper
Sami Young was busy, making four saves. Her Scranton counterpart, Caitlin Byrne had four saves in the first half.

Lauren King on the right side. King dribbled the ball down the side and found Snyder with a cross pass to the front of the net.
Scranton pressured in the final minutes but Young kept them off the scoreboard. She finished with six saves in the game, while Byrne had three saves in the second half for five total.
The win marked the first victory in program history over Scranton. The Royals lead the all-time series, 3-1-1.
The Dutchmen host Immaculata on Monday at 4 p.m.
