ANNVILLE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley College will hold Student-Athlete Day this Tuesday during LVC's men's lacrosse game against Lycoming College at 4 p.m.. All LVC student-athletes and fans are invited to the game, which will also serve as a fundraiser for the Bo Tkach Memorial Foundation.
Student-athletes can enjoy free refreshments at the game, and we will take donations to benefit the Bo Tkach Memorial Foundation during the game, as well.
The Bo Tkach Memorial Foundation was established in memory of former Wilkes student-athlete Bo Tkach, and creates awareness for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and other mental health issues while providing essential funding for youth athletic programs, scholarships and otherwise inaccessible individual mental health screening and treatment. In appreciation of his dedication to the youth of the area and in Bo's honor, Bo's father, Jim Tkach created the Bo Tkach Memorial Fund. Through youth athletics, public awareness and financial assistance, the foundation promotes positive mental health for students in our area, and annually benefits 1,000 or more students.
