LVC led once at 7-6 in the first half on Krechel's first goal, but two goals in the final 30 seconds of the first, including Erin Dyer's goal with two seconds left, gave SU an 8-7 edge at the half.
The Crusaders (1-3) came out and scored four of the first five goals of the second to establish a comfortable 12-8 lead, but LVC came back with two goals by Krechel and another by
Suzanne Sullivan to cut the lead to 13-11.
Things came apart after that, though, as SU ran for their six in a row, including goals by Brittany McCann, Dyer, and two each from Phoebe Nicholls and Ally Bauer.
