Noting Parker's Historic Game
Charlie Parker was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Week and was selected to the d3football.com Team of the Week ... Parker's big day moved him up two spots on the LVC all-time rushing list. With 2,364 career yards, he is now second behind Rick Coleman, who had 3,106 ... Parker
surpassed Pete Henning (2,203 yards) and Ken Wilson (2,305) during the Wilkes game ... Parker also tied Coleman for career rushing touchdowns with 21 and is now two behind Wilson's program record ... Parker set a single-game record for carries with 44, surpassing Steve Vajda's 40 in 1990 ... The 267 yards was only the third 200-yard game by a Dutchman, with the other two (241 and 204 yards) set by Wilson.

The Hands Team
LVC is +6 on turnovers this season, recovering 10 fumbles overall, including five at Wilkes, while coughing the ball up just four times. Quarterback Caleb Fick has helped as well, tossing just two interceptions this season.

Red Zone Struggles
While LVC has the MAC's top-rated offense in terms of yardage (369.8 ypg), the Dutchmen rank fifth in
scoring offense at 23.5 points per game. Although the big pass play has consistantly been there (Joe Brennan and Matt Donley have combined for five touchdown catches of over 25 yards this season), LVC has struggled in the red zone, converting eight of 16 tries for point, the worst percentage in the MAC. Both of Fick's interceptions this year have come inside the 20, and LVC is 1-of-4 on field goal tries.

Drive Stopping
If you consider the concept of a “drive stop” - that is, the play the defense makes to force the offense into either punting or turning the ball over on downs, by fumble, or by interception - the LVC defense has had a penchant for big plays this season. Of 27 drive stops, nine have been by tackle, and 18 were by sack, fumble, interception, or pass break-up.
