Laura Klinger is entering her third season as a member of Lebanon Valley’s coaching staff, transitioning to a volunteer assistant coach role in 2023.
Klinger joined Lebanon Valley with an already extensive coaching resume. She led the Cumberland Valley School district’s middle school volleyball program from Feb. 2012 to June 2021, coaching the junior high varsity team to 10 winning seasons. Klinger has also been the head coach of the Fusion 14 white team at Fusion Volleyball Club since Oct. 2019. Before starting her coaching career, she also played volleyball for four seasons at Millersville University.
Klinger graduated from Millersville University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminology and sociology. She also became certified in elementary and secondary school counseling, graduating from Duquesne University in Dec. 2011. Klinger has worked as a school counselor at Mountain View Middle School since Jan. 2012.
