Diana Perry enters her 28th season as an assistant coach for LVC in 2018. Diana comes from southwestern Pennsylvania where she played volleyball at Rockwood Area High School. She was a four-year varsity player at Rockwood and was selected as the Somerset County MVP her senior year.
Perry played collegiately at volleyball powerhouse Juniata College for four years, helping the Eagles advance to the NCAA Division III Final Four during her junior and senior season.
She continues to play now, not only in local adult leagues, but with a master's team in West Chester. She has gone to USA Open Nationals for many years, the past two playing at the 50's level. In 2015, she was asked to represent Team USA at the Global Cup event against Germany and Canada. Diana was the only former Division III player on the roster, with the rest of the members consisting of former Division I and National Team players.
Diana also coaches club volleyball for Central Penn (CPVBC). Along with her own team responsibilties, she coaches all of the age groups, helping teach defensive skills and overall ball handling skills.
Along with her husband, Wayne, Diana is an avid hiker, backpacker, and gardener. She and Wayne volunteer at a local state park, helping with trail maintenance and other work projects.
