Ben Beaver joined Lebanon Valley's staff as an assistant coach in 2022.
Beaver joined LVC’s coaching staff after working as a manager for the Penn State women’s volleyball team during the 2021 campaign. He assisted the program with its practices and drills, as well as helping with individual work with players before and after practice. Beaver also tracked offensive schemes and hitting combinations during games. Additionally, he was an intern for both Penn State Harrisburg and Altoona, working with the athletic directors at both universities.
Before transitioning to the sidelines, Beaver competed for Penn State Altoona’s men’s volleyball team. He started for the program as both a first-year and a sophomore, ranking in the top three in kills and assists during both seasons. During his sophomore year, Beaver was voted Most Outstanding Athlete on the team and First Team All-AMCC.
Beaver graduated from Penn State in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
