Abigail Amaya was named an Assistant Coach for the Lebanon Valley College women’s soccer team in August 2026.
Amaya joined the women's soccer staff after spending a little over a year as a Youth Soccer Coach for the Philadelphia Union in Chester, Pennsylvania, and three years as a soccer coach for the Reading Rage Soccer Club in Reading, Pennsylvania. She gained valuable experience at both clubs implementing training sessions and leading camps and clinics.
Amaya is a 2026 graduate of Lock Haven University in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, with a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management. She was a member of the Bald Eagles women's soccer team for two seasons as a defender. Amaya earned Dean's List and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete honors, was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), and was a PSAC SAAC conference representative. Prior to LHU, she attended Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, where she was also a member of the women's soccer team as a defender for one season.
In addition to her education, Amaya holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “D” Coaching License.
