Grace Mayer ’24 became an Assistant Coach for the Lebanon Valley College women’s ice hockey team before the start of the 2025-26 season.
Prior to starting her coaching career, Mayer was a defenseman for the Dutchmen from 2020 to 2024. The two-time co-captain was a key contributor during her four seasons at Lebanon Valley, helping the program reach the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC) Quarterfinals in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 campaigns. Defensively, Mayer recorded 98 career blocks. She led LVC with 43 blocks in her senior year, while ranking second in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) and tying for third in the UCHC. On the offensive end, Mayer also tallied 16 career points with three goals and 13 assists.
Mayer succeeded in the classroom during her career as a student-athlete as well, being named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll three times. She was also selected to the UCHC All-Academic Team as a junior and senior. Mayer graduated from Lebanon Valley with a bachelor’s in Criminal Justice in 2024.
