Abby Schoffstall joined the LVC women's basketball coaching staff at the start of the 2021-22 season. Schoffstall played basketball under current LVC head coach Diane Decker at East Stroudsburg University and graduated in 2021.

“I built a great relationship with her during our time together,” said Schoffstall. “She was instrumental in helping me become the player and person I am today. I am very grateful for the opportunity she has given me to come to LVC and coach alongside her.”

As a four-year member of the East Stroudsburg team, Schoffstall played guard on the 2019-20 squad that set school records for most overall wins (20) and Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victories with 15. Off the court, she was recognized as a PSAC Scholar-Athlete. She earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise science.

Going back to her high school career at Minersville, Schoffstall led the team to an undefeated 31-0 season and the PIAA State Championship as a senior. A two-time All-State selection, she sits atop the Minersville charts as the career leader in assists (863) and steals (454) and finished with 1,540 career points. Minersville won four district championships and three league titles during her playing years.
