Jordan Heavel ’18 became an Assistant Coach for the Lebanon Valley College men’s tennis team before the 2023-24 season, and he has been a member of the staff since 2018. He was a Graduate Assistant from 2018 to 2020, prior to serving as a Volunteer Assistant for three campaigns.
Before his coaching career, Heavel played for LVC as a student-athlete from 2014-2018. He competed in both singles and doubles during his four years with the program, helping Lebanon Valley reach the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championship match in his junior and senior seasons. Heavel was also selected to the All-MAC Commonwealth Team as an Honorable Mention in his senior year. After concluding his career with the Flying Dutchmen, he continued to compete in local tournaments and play on multiple United States Tennis Association (USTA) teams.
Heavel currently works at Penn State Hershey Children’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse. He graduated from LVC in 2018 with a bachelor's in Health Science and from Penn State University in 2021 with a bachelor's in Nursing.
